It sounds like the Home Alonereboot will have plenty of opportunities for some thematic parallels between the Mercer’s and the intruding family, which could add an extra layer of narrative complexity to an otherwise familiar story. Thanks to Disney, those fans may finally be getting their Christmas wishes granted.
